my daughter had been living with her boyfriend - recently broke up - her paycheck had been getting deposited electronically in a joint account - she has removed herself from the account - notified her employer by fax (has transmission receipt slip) not to deposit her check in that account - payroll department responded to her with a message that a paper check would be issued - you guessed it - check went to the account and boyfriend won't give her the money company says they have no obligation to correct the situation - I suspect the company is obliged to pay her by paper check - help?
