Need Advice

Hello.....i live in the state of california and am being charged with filing a false report to a specific police officer on a felony.I have no priors except for driving without my licence. I have a court date 4 days after christmas and was wondering if anybody knows if they will put me in jail? On a first time offense. also consider i live in Kern county too. I have been so nervous and just would like to know from somebody who is more exsperienced what might happen to me.
