:mad: I am currently going thru a long and tedious break up with the father of my 20 month old son. He has been in and out of jail/rehabilitation centers for the last 2 years (Since Sep. of 05, i found out i was pregnant July of 05) he recently got released (Oct. 07) and is now claiming parental rights. He is techinically on the birth certificate, but has not given any sort of money to help in our sons well being, nor has he even been around. What kind of rights does he have? Can i refuse visitation until he takes it to the next step of hiring attorneys? I am attempting to play fair, but he has yet to show any signs of maturity...
