Last week, while making deliveries, I got lost and had to stop and ask for directions. I ended up running in and out of six places, and in my flurry, at the last location, I locked the keys in the company van. The employees at that location were very kind and a number of them valiantly tried to get the door unlocked for me. Eventually, a policeman came and managed to open up my car.
My employer has informed me that now, the door will not unlock from the outside. She is going to have to get it fixed, and she told me that she will give me a bill for the cost of those repairs.
Won't insurance cover the repair of the broken lock? And if it won't, can she make me pay for it?
