I am a licinsed contractor in michigan and did work for a management co. that was hired by the DHC (Detroit Housing Commision)and they will not pay me becouse they were fired and a new mgt. co. was brought in. I contacted the DHC (The owners of the Propity) and thry said they would pay me 3 months ago sence then they have ben given me the run around. The amount is just under 10,000 dollars total. The jobs were done at different times on different units mostley drywall painting and cabinet replacement. average invoice was about 1800.00. Can I file 9 different clames in small clames one for each invoice. Sence the invoices span a period of 6 months. Thanks Mike
