I have purchased a software with full resale rights, ($400) it generates reports and charts. I have noticed to my dismay that there is the original creator's copyright notice on the reports that I have the right to market and sell. I am not too disturbed with the charts as it is kinda propriatery and unique to the creator. But do I have to advertise the owner and his business after I purchased full resale rights? Should not "resale right" imply that I can delete copyright stuff and things I deep fit? I signed no contract nor I was informed that the owner expects me to continue to advertise his "brand" after I purchase resale right??
This is as much of a legal question as it is a ethical issue. If I must I will (grudgingly comply) but will make all effort to create my own software where I can do what I want.
I am sick of these busiensses legally harrasing customer and clients. Do we have any rights as consumers any more. Or just take our money and F U very much?
