I recently told my husband I wanted a divorce.I came home yesterday to an apartment that is now pretty much empty.He left myself & my son with almost nothing.Can he legally do this?Can he just take everything without any form of discussion etc?What should I do if he comes back & takes the rest of what's left when I'm not home?
We are both listed on the rental agreement,so I cannot change the locks until he gives the building manager a letter stating he's moving out according to what I've been told.I'm in the process of finding an attorney,but is there anything I can do in the meantime?(We live in Massachusetts)
