Pointed gun at police

I pointed a gun at some cops to make a long story short. It was in self defense. Plain Clothes police, unmarked vehicle jumped out at me in the dark. Why ? I was just walking home from work. I have a license to carry a pistol and everythings legitimate. Question. The police report and officer testimony said the weapon I used was a .45, but its not, its a 9mm. So technically a .45 caliber pistol with those serial numbers cant exist. Is there any legal loophole. Anything is appreciated. waiting your reply. Justin
