Ok so here's the story. When my ex and i were dating he let me drive his car, he put me on his insurance. I wrecked it on june 1st and he broke up with me on june 4th. Several weeks go by and he's wanting $1500. His insurance only covered liability not his car. Not my fault right? Anyway he got $500 from the salvage yard because the repairs would cost to much. He thinks the car was worth $2000, that's where the $1500 comes from. I thought that was ridiculous. Later i got a medical bill from the ambulence company for $544.50. I can't afford that at once. I told him I'll pay half if you help me with this bill. He said ok but i had to pay him back for the bill help as well. I said ok. Also said it in a text message, which he saved. that would be $1000, which is a estimate. He's in the navy, he left for deployment i had time to think about the money situation. I figured i owed him for the $272.25+ $150(for putting me on his insurance)+$50(for a trip i agreed to pay part for) that's a total of $472.25. I told him that that's what i would pay him. He called me several times after that. In one of the voicemails he left he said $550. After a while of not calling him he threated to take me to court if i didn't agree to the $1000 after coming down to $550. I really really need some advice on this BAD!
