Hello
I appreciate any response I receive to my problem: I applied for short term disability insurance last september. Premiums were deducted from my pay beginning in November. In December I received a letter from the insurance co advising that they were reducing my benefit because I told them I took prescription medication for migraines. I feel this is unfair, particularly because the migraines were a result of a condition that I no longer have (Peri-menopause). Therefore, I no longer take the medication - and have not actively taken the medication In almost one year. Can you please advise how I should approach this with the insurance company?
THank you again!
Margie
