My wife and I are currently separated. We are both on the mortgage. She has moved out and I am remaining in the house. I am pursuing refinancing the house to remove her of any obligation to the mortgage. Until that happens, does she have the right to hold on to the keys to the house?
It was part of our separation agreement that she would have to call before coming over. I see no reason for her to keep a set of keys. She has nothing belonging to her in the house at this point.
