:confused:Hello

I have a serious issue. I took out several payday loans in missouri. Two of those companies sent my checks to a prosecuting attorney stating that the checks were written on a closed account. I wrote one of the postdated checks on August 16, 2007 making it due on August 30th and the other check was written on August 24 making it due on September 30th of 2007. The account was closed on October 1, 2007. The prosecuting attorney's office is saying that postdated checks to payday loans are the same as any check written. They are trying to give me a felony. The Prosecutor is aware that I filed Chapter 7, so he is requesting that I give him a copy of my petition and list of creditors. Is this method legal? I feel that this county is abusing their legal authority on us poor people. I do not have a criminal record from the past. It also apprears that the lawyers that I've talked to are afraid of this county' s system for some reason.

Sincerly Yours Padgitt
