I received a jury questionaire, then a summons, after two decades of living here. I've never registered to vote nor have I had a valid driver's license for some time (after Virginia decided to use DMV lists I let it expire). I'm assuming I was registered to vote without my knowledge since I got a dozen political mailers, for the first time in my life, around the same time as the questionnaire, and the Fairfax government took advantage of it. I can't say they did it intentionally, though that's a definite possibility.
Is this more or less related voting rights, state/federal or otherwise, and where would I go for more detailed assistance? Though I've already served, I had to walk from Falls Church to the courthouse and back that day (four-plus hours each way), so I'm quite sore.
