Possible harrassment?

Recently we received a couple phone calls on our home phone (which we don't really use) from creditors asking for my mom (in one instance) and my dad (in another). We've only had our home phone, and been at this residence since august, so the only way these creditors could have gotten our home number is if one or both of my parents have been giving it instead of their own. :mad:

My question is, if we keep getting calls from these creditors and collection agencies asking for one or both of my parents, is there any action I can take against my parents for giving our number out instead of their own?

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
