I'm looking for a way to legally protect my self from a very abusive family, they were abusive either physically or sexually and if they weren't actually victimizing me themeselves they either knew of the abuse and didn't care or they would watch and do nothing about it. I have two children and we are expecting another, I have tried to cut off contact but they are not respecting boundaries and are trying to contact me through my in-laws. These people are very controlling and predatory and I'm thinking pursuing this legally is going to be our only hope...can anyone help?
