I'm not sure if I'm in the right area, but this was closet I think. I was dropping off my car today, to get some damage fixed that I had happen a few weeks ago.

At the repair place I slipped and fell in their parking lot, since it was icy and they had not spread any salt. When I fell I fit the back of my head on the bumper of my car.

I went inside and told the recetionist who didn't seem to care much, just got someone to go to the store to buy some salt.

Thrueout the day I started having more and more neck pain. I ended up not being able to work tonight, instead I spent almost 6 hours at the ER and it turns out that I have whiplash, and maybe even a spinal injury, they won't know for sure on the later until tomorrow.

I'm on muscle relaxins and vocidin and won't be able to work again tomorrow.

I now have to pau 20% of the ER bill, plus I'm out my pay.

Is there any way that the car place is liable since they didn't salt their parking lot?

I'm not looking to sue them for tons of money, but I can't afford another medical bill, plus I can't afford to lose my pay.

Thank you for any advice you may have.
