A Doctor who made a wrong prescription may be held liable for medical malpractice. The improper prescription- would amount to improper medication, and thus a legally actionable wrong.
Even if the affliction is unintentional or accidental, the doctor involved should be held liable for medical malpractice.
A necessary case for personal injury may be had against the erring medical practitioner for any injuries sustained by reason of the wronged prescription.
