Divorced in 2001 , Property interests of Mine were quick deede to ex-spouse at that time. My mother is also a owner of this property(1/3).
Mother was living at property in a in-law suite until 2005, at which time She moved to another Home I had purchased. Since leaving she has not contributed any funds for maintenance of this property. During My wifes and My marriage and living with My mother We had a verbal agreement that Mother would act as child care provider for Our youngest Son during hours of employment in exchange for My wife and Myself paying utilities,mortgage,taxes and maintenance costs associated with ownership of this property.
I am trying to come to a fair solution on how to determine what percentage of ownership My mother has in this property at this time and seek a way to for Mother to get Cash out of this property.
