I am looking for someone willing to help me with some legal issues.My ex-fiance and I signed a year lease toghether,and we broke up.I moved out,and I left all the furniture that my parents had given me.I signed a letter saying she could have all the property,but my parents said they were only borrowing the property to me,and they want it back.Do i still have legal claim to the property?Also,I asked her to sign something that says she accepts all legal responsibility for the lease,and she wont.I am still on the lease,and she wont let me in.Can anyone tell me my rights?Also,I had gotten scammed in a payment transfer job that I thought was legit.A check I recieved bounced my account and I owe the bank 1700 dollars.They never called the cops,or filed any charges,I just have to pay them back.Anyway,my ex is threatening to call the cops and say I knew it was illegal.Shes using this threat as leverage to keep me out,and keep my property.Her new boyfriend who is not on the lease is also living there,and has verbaly threatened me on the phone,but I have no recordings of the threat.Please,someone tell me what my rights are,and what I can do about all of this.
