My husband is Canadian and lives in Canada. I am American and live in Ohio. We have no kids together. Share no assets. We have been married for three years and have not seen each other in 1 year. What is the cheapest way to make it official? I've heard I can file for abandonment? I'm unsure of my options and don't have the money to get a lawyer.
