Is my lanlord allowded to charge me for leaving 3 days after my lease is up.

Maybe, but the charge may be relatively small, per day the least.
Legally, LL may charge you. Unjust enrichment.

He is trying to charge me a full week. Not even by the day.

LL allowed to charge you for reasonable amount of rent for 3 days-if that is the constitutive period of staying in the premises.
Charging beyond the 3 days, say for a week, it is not permissive, that is illegal, unjust enrichment. At most, pay only for what you consume.
