I was let go from my job in the beginning of january. I received a letter telling me who to contact about my pension plan, which I did. I then received a form to fill out for the options for payout. It is now 4 months later, I still don't have the money and when I just tried to call the person in regards to the pension plan I received the message the message that the number is no longer valid.
My question is this. By law how long can my previous employer take to pay out this money?I am just tired of getting the run around. I also called my previous employer and left a message with human resources to get a different contact number.

General: From the spectrum of choices, it depends on your chosen retirement plan payout option.
