So I Have Been At My Job For Almost 2 Years, A Girl That I Work With Has Been Here 3 Years And Is The Golden Child Of The Office So To Speak. Well I Had Somewhat Of An Affair With Her, It Was Mutual, But I Probably Did Push The Issue More Than Her, She Has Said That She Could Have Cried Foul At Any Point And Id Lose My Job. I Love My Job But Being That I Have A Family At Home It Kind Of Makes Things Difficult. My Spouse And I Are Trying To Move On And I Dont Talk To This Other Woman At All Anymore. The Only Problem Is What If She Cries Foul At This Point What Ground Does She Have?? I Have Proof That It Was A 2 Sided Street. Should I Bring This Up To My Boss?? Could They Legally Just Fire Me For This?? Or Would They Have To Let Us Both Go??

Her grounds may be based foremost on the employee's handbook. There you can see possible sanctions. If you are asking a ground-in law, that would debatable.

You may not want to bring the matter to your boss. What for? For him/ her to side with you or understand your situation...That would be speculative, I guess it would be irrelevant.

They can or may not fire you...lot of things to consider before a definite answer can be laid. Better confer with a qualified lawyer or a friend for that matter who have knowledge on this aspect.
