I am not sure what forum so I will just start here since it is job related.
I work in a factory where they require you to be able to speak and understand English. Everyone that I have spoke with in the work place does indeed speak and understand English. there is americans, Burmese , Mexican and other nationalities that work in this factory. I (an English speaking american) have no problem with these people speaking their own language if it is not work related. Well, the problem is that All the forgein speaking people were told that during work time, they are not allowed to speak any language except English. I really can not believe that this is leagal for them to say and expect. I am just really curiouse about it. does any one have any idea????????????? please email me at akinsey2002 at yahoo
