My younger brother is telling people that I'm "incapable" of caring for myself and is now attempting to have me put in a home. This is totally bogus.
Everything done for me gets done by me. I do my own grocery shopping, cook my own meals, give myself my insulin when I'm supposed to. The only time I've needed any assistance was changing a dressing I had after surgery, but only because it was in the middle of my back and I couldn't reach it. My brother does absolutely nothing for me, and he's comfortable enough with the way I care for myself to go out of town twice this month. The only thing that needs a little work is I'm not particularly neat, he's know this for 30 years, and he's not exactly neat himself and has no reason to complain about me until he neatens up himself
What do I do?
