Hi, I wonder anyone can help me.
Both Myself and my partner worked part time in a bar for almost 7 years,however our employer didnt inform us till around 6 months ago that we were entitled to holiday pay the whole time.
i have asked if they would back date it and the response was laughed off. I then put my request in writing even offering a repayment schedule (as i believe they are suffering some financial trouble) or settlement which was ignored.
when my holiday entitlement was worked out last year i was entitled to 88 hours due to the amount of hours worked the previous year and at this rate i calculated the figure owed around the £2000 mark. prior to this i was working more hours which would obviously change the holiday entitlement owed.
Iam seriously considering issuing a claim for my backdated pay, but do i have a case?
