I had a brief relationship with a girl I worked with. There is no company policy against this. It ended badly and she kept harassing me. I went to HR and informed them of the sexual harassment. The female was promptly fired. She then filed a case of gender discrimination with the EEOC. Right before the mediation, I was let go. I believe it was so she would no longer have a case against them. Only this time, having learned their lesson from the paperwork they gave her, they said it was a lay off because of budget cuts. However, they put someone else in my position (saving them no money) and the promised lay offs did not occur. I was also asked to sign a form saying that I would not sue them, which is not a regular business practice for them. I feel this proves that it was not just a lay off. Do I have a case?
