I purchased a new(at the time) 2006 dodge truck which has been in for repair numorous times. 4 times relating to the A/C system and once for a melted tail light which is rare, but happens due to moisture getting into the wiring.
The dealership is sticking with the "we fixed it, that's what we are here for, we don't see the problem", line. The corporate office is sticking with "unless it's the same problem with the same thing they aren't going to do anything" either line.
The dealership has repaired the problems however, for whatever reasons certain things keep breaking. Most of them are not related except that they are all part of the same system, ie A/C system.
I might add the dealerships managers won't do anything, they say they can't by law do anything but fix the problems. My only recourse is lemon laws and as they put it, "I can do whatever I want, but I don't have a case at all, and would be wasting my time. But I can do file if I like."
Do I have a case for a lemon law?? I don't want to waste my time by filing papers and going through the motions if I don't even have a leg to stand on.
However, 6 times for repair on a brand new vehicle within a little over 15 months is exsessive to me.
