I didn't know what other topic to post this to...
...anyway, I broke up with my ex-girlfriend of 11 months and she was living with me for about 8. I had her added to my health insurance as a "domestic partner", since she definitely needed that. Yet, I did not know that in order to be a domestic partner, you actually have to file some paperwork with the county, which we had NOT done. So she's trying to use that against me, telling everyone that we were domestic partners, when in fact, all I was trying to do was get her insurance.
So here's the heart of the issue! My ex says she's talked to lawyers and cops about the situation and said if I even touch her stuff, like move it from one room to another or into my garage, I could go to jail. Given the brief background on the situation, does she have any sort of case against me? Hell hath no fury!...
