im a resident of WV and i filed a small claim of 2000 dollars against my ex girlfriend. the basis for this being that after our breakup she filed a DVPO against me that i proved in a Family Court hearing to be 100% false. therefore i am sueing her for the wages and costs that i had in preparing my defense against her claims. She is now living with the guy that she was cheating on me with and i filed to have her served. My question is...will they serve her at his residence if she is not home when the officer takes it there? Does anyone know the procedure on something like that? Since it is the other guys home can he accept the service?
