How do I get back ownership of property?

I had put a friends name on the deed even though I purchased the property for her. What procedure do I need to force her to sign the property back over to me? She was supposed to pay back the full purchase price but has failed to do so. She is trying to sell my property and collect the money. Do I put a real estate lien on it? This is rather urgent. If you have a contract with her, you need a lawyer. If yo don't have a contract with her, you REALLY need a lawyer. You MAY have given her a house with you making the payments.

It looks like you got scammed. There is no question that you need to contact a real estate lawyer. Just remember to think about the time and cost of proving your case. It may end up costing just as much.
