My ex-wife and I have share custody with me as the domicillary parent. During the school months I have custody from Sunday 5pm to Friday at 5pm and she has custody from Friday at 5pm till Sunday at 5pm.
My son called me less than 20 minutes ago from his mothers crying because the left him at home alone with his sister to go out with her friends. He is only 12 yrs old and was scared to death. This is the second time in 2 weeks she has done this. She thinks that it is ok and that she deserves her mommy time to go out and do what she wants when she wants regardless of whether he is there or not.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? I am desperate and concerned that something serious could happen to him while he is there alone. He has practically begged her not to leave the house and it has done no good. When I confronted her about it on the phone tonight, she was unsympathetic towards his feelings concerning the situation but returned back home because I told her I was going to call the police department. Someone Please help me with some advice. I AM SO DESPERATE AND CONCERNED!!!!!!:eek:
