Lease and Judgement

I have lived in this house for six years. Four of which have been under the management of the new owner. Last year 2005, I had a check returned followed by a late payment and have been trying to regroup since. Since the new mangement/owner, I have not signed a lease and am on month-to-month as a result. He has been granted another judgement for possession, but says he won't do anything until I can pay another thousand in one week. I cannot do this! I gave $1800 in Dec; and $1000 today, so I sent along with my last payment a written 30 day notice to vacate. Can he evict me before the 30 days? Also, he assesses $32 per day late fees. Can he do that? Since I can never pay what's due ($2200-2900; and my take home pay is 2700-teacher :rolleyes: ). I am so frustrated and beside myself I cannot think straight. Another thing, he has inspected this house one time since taking management/ownership. The fence is falling-has fallen; the tile in the bathroom is coming apart; the electric bill is sky high (my brother has a two-story and his summer bill is around 300; mine at 1600 sq ft is 600, 700, 800!)
I am a single mother of three and at my wits end with this!
