Does any one know if its legal to change a position from salary to hourly after I have been in that position for 12 years. This is an IT position that requires me to carry a pager and answer off hour calls. This "demotion" will cause some of my employee benefits to decrease/change also.
** update** so now that I have asked HR questions about pay, time off, reasons for the change to hourly status, I have been warned "off the record" to stop asking questions. Whats worse my review is now being altered to include some negative comments. I have had top reviews my whole career ! This seems wrong to me !!
