There are MANY complaints against this company CPS in Irvine, CA. They harass you, they call many times each day, to include family, work, friends, even after speaking to them directly. They refuse to allow us to surrender the vehicle, stating they do not want it only will accept the money. I was out of work for 5 months, during this time I made the car payments, putting us way behind on our mortgage. We have to have our home, and we now have my daughter and 2 grandkids living with us and us 100% supporting them and cannot afford the car. CPS Finance refuses to allow us to surrender and they keep harassing us. If you goto Google site and type in consumer portfolio services, you will get them and than a LONG list of links regarding this company, the threats, harassments, and so forth. I am NOT the only one, this company is being referred to as the Loan Sharks, The Mafia, ect. Something needs to be done. What they are doing cannot possibly be legal. Any advice or direction would be greatly appriciated in this matter.

If you are many, you may even bring a class suit against the company. But you should act immediately. The law does not run in favor of those who sleep on their rights.
