Not sure if this is the proper location for posting this guestion.
I have owned a Timeshare for the last ten years. We have paid out contract in full and only owe the annual maint. fees.
This was affordable but in the last three years, they have been charging a ' special assestment ' which has made this a very bad deal. Fees started in 1999 @ 425.00/yr. They are now 1075.60/yr!
My question is this; should I not pay the maint. fee, being willing to just give this POS up, can the folks sue/come after me for the fees? Will I have to continue to pay the maint. fees for ever? Is my only out to sell or donate this Timeshare so that I am no longer a member?
