I am getting married in January 2009. My fiance and I both have a lot of student loan debt, and would like to have a legal document stating that we cannot be held responsible for the other person's debt under any circumstances. Is this possible? If so, how do we do it?

I recomend that you consult with legal service. I have recently joined in the company where they would help any of your situation. A lot of times if you try to fix debt on your own, creditor will even force to keep paying your debt and they threaten you. Let the lawyer deal with your problem have them right to creditor or collector and trust me it will make a lot easier for you and your partner. Since I am still not allowed to post the website email me so I can give you the websites. You don't have to pay $100, or $200 to have your credit fix or your student loan. But simply $35.00 a month you will have access to the best top lawfirm 24 hours seven days a week.

It is not normally the case that married couples take on responsibility for their sposes student loans. If you are particularly worried then you could sign a pre-nuptial agreement or some form of contract to ensure this.

Contact a lawyer specialising in this sector to make sure there is no chance of becoming responsible.
