Need legal advice

I have a question, my best friend's boyfriend has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. They have been living together for about 3 years. She has Power of Attorney dated 1/8/09, his sister came into town and had a POA done dated 1/10/09. He signed this when he was on heavy pain killers and didn't know what he was signing. He has no will and his sister is trying to take him to her home which is about 2.5 hours from his. What rights does his girlfriend have? He has introduced her many times as his wife in public.

With something like this the best thing to do would be to get in contact with a legal advisor. Unfortunately these things can get very awkward especially if the sister decides that the girlfriend can get nothing. As there is no will, the girlfriend doesn't technically have any rights but you would need to contest this in order to change it.
