Hi there,
Cool forum. Didn't see this until now and hope I can get some good advise from everybody in here.
My Ex-Wife had her lawyer issue a court order to my employer to pay child support and Alimony through the Spartanburg, SC county clerk.
After the latest court battle, on which I got really screwed, :( the amounts have changed.
I have received the court order specifying the amounts but was told by my employer that they need another one, directed to them just like the first one, to change the amounts.
My question is, who has to intiate this.
My gut feeling tells me that this, again, has to come from my Ex-Wife's lawyer but I'm not sure about this.
Can somebody answer this question for me?
In my opinion it wouldn't make sense that I could have a court order changed that was initiated by somebody else. I live in South Carolina btw.
Please advise.
