I helped a friend move out of here house prior to her eviction. I offered to let her store a few things in my basement. She stored the res of her stuff with mutual friends that took her in until she could fin a new place. She got in trouble with the law a was taking advantage of them also. She was asked to leave. Which she did leaving the stuff that is stored there and at my house behind. We both have made numerous attempts to contact her getting nothing but her voice mail, with none of our calls returned. My question is what legal obligations I have to satisfy before I get ride of her stuff. There was no contract signed and no rent or fees charged by either of us storing her stuff. Does anyone have any idea where I can find out what my options in Wisconsin are in this situation. Thank you all for your time.
