HELP!! I have someone, i assume somebody i owe, trying to serve me papers at my home. The problem is, i work nights, i have a security camera on my porch, i also have 3 kids, my oldest is 15. He has called me 2 nights in a row at work absolutley panicked because someone is banging on our door & repeadedly ringing the door bell, i hear it while im on the phone with him & it scared me, & i mean BANGING hard on my door & even shining a flash light in the windows. I dont know what creditor it is if it is, but we have the cameras up due to their father breaking in w/his shot gun about a 1yr ago, by banging & kicking the door so hard it flung open & he is out with warrants but we dont know where he is, banging & banging obut this creditor or ? is holding papers in their hand, but ive had to come home from work because the kids are so scared thinkin it has something to do with their dad. What are my rights? can these people practicaly bang my door down or do i have to miss work now so i can answer it as i will not allow my 15yr old to do so?? Im am so furious right now i wish they would come knockin right now, please help!
