My son was standing talking with friends and another child stained his coat by throwing "slime" on him. Well of course the grease in it stained his Nike goose down parka (nylon shell) and she has went through every excuse in the book why she shouldn't have to pay...for the coat. I even dropped the ruined t-shirt etc... but wanted his coat replaced. I even found a cheaper one to replace it. NOw my son barely knows the girl and was an innocent bystander. NO horse play or anything. Now she is liable correct? Also, I have to replace the coat out of pocket to make sure he doesn't have to wear the stained coat around by her being obstinate and refusing liability, can I hit her with anything else? Thanks in advance.
