Can You Sue A Landlord For His Negligence?Is a landlord responisble for taking Ice off of the stairs to get into the appartment building? it is a duplex system with 2 apartments(a house with two apartments). Also is he responisble for him to fix the broken post where people can hold on to? He comes to the apartment building every day and you will think he would fix the post where you can hold on to, since he doesnt want to clear the ice and lay salt on the steps. But he doesnt do anything. To say if someone would to get hurt, like slip and hurt their back or even broke a bone. Could that tenant sue the lanlord for pain & suffering and stuff like that? Also what kind of lawyer would handle a case like this? What are some cases like this?
