My ex-wife has abandoned her house and left the state of Indiana leaving me with the second mortgage to pay. The second mortgage was listed on our divorce paperwork as her resonsibility to pay (I was co-signer on loan). She informs me that she will be filing for bankruptcy, but can't say when. Am I going to be responsible for this loan when she files for bankruptcy? Also, how can I get the money back that she will owe me for paymenys already made on the loan? Thank you for your assistance.
