I was just fired for using my cell phone during business hours, the other technicians that worked with me were told numerous times per day to get off their phone and nothing has come from that. I was never warned and did not make it a habit of using my phone except during break. I was singled out because the manager and I did not get along. I know the phone records from myself and the other techs will back up this statement, have I been discriminated against or do I have any legal recourse?

Yes however not all discrimnation is unlawful. If you were singled out due to your belonging to a protected class, like age, race, religion etc, then yes its lawful. If it was because the boss doesnt like you it is not

The employees and managers have been against me since I started, I moved from Michigan to work here in Georgia, they have called me Yankee and the like. Does me being from the north and them being from the south stand any chance in a discrimination suit?

That does not place you in a legally defined "protected class"
