my child or my job!!

Can your workplace dictate against a parents visitation set by the state and tell the parent that they are to work every weekend although the work place has known for 4 years your visitation which falls every saturday but when you express your issue your manager tells you, you either give up your job or you give up your child!! Can they do this?? What can I do??

The two have nothing to do with each other. Your job sets your work schedule. If you cannot be at work when they scehdule you, you can be terminated
