Back in October 08, I expressed interest in purchasing season tickets for the new soccer stadium that is being built. I blindly put down a deposit of $200 to secure 4 seats and have since made another payment of the same amount.
Since last October (and after several conversations) I've been asking what the amount for the season tickets would be. It was only after receiving an email from the team stating that my bank account would be charged monthly $200 from Aug to Jan to pay the balance.
From the beginning, the website has said that there were no refunds. After speaking with the ticket sales manager through email and by phone since last October....it wasn't until just today that i learned what the amount would be and I can't afford the tickets. I was offered to either lose my deposit of $400 or give up 2 seats or change my location in the stadium to a lesser amount.
My question is this: even though it's been stated that thereis no refunds....is there a work around for that. i have to believe that they wouldn't have too much difficulty unloading these seats . The first game isn't for another year and the stadium isn't even built yet.
Any knowledgable helpers out there?
