I have a neighbor who has had an ongoing beef with me for over a year now. The police have been called by her to my home on seven occasions now. She's consistently referred to me as a "Fing Nazi" and has told residents that I am in the Russian Mafia and I am a threat to all of them. To me it has been "sticks and stones" up until 5 July when the police were called again. My truck was illegally parked, that I admit. Instead of ticketing my truck or towing it, this woman stated to them that I had recently underwent a surgical procedure (I didn't answer the door when she knocked) and that she was "concerned." Now the other residents did inform her that she was incorrect, that I did not have a surgical procedure. She verbally stated to the officers as well as their commander that I had this surgical procedure. I was in the bathtub at the time and did not hear them knock on my door. So, based on this so-called "concern" they entered my home, escorted by this woman. Who incidentally was told by other neighbors not to enter based on past history. When I did hear the men's voices along with hers I became angry and frightened, quite frankly as I was naked, I yelled at them to "Get the "F" out of my house." Now my question is, what constitutes from a legal standpoint "harrassment?" Aside from hiring a lawyer, would I have a leg to stand on if I choose to pursue this incident. My reputation has been ruined due to the commition that was going on outside my home.
