If a judge forgets to have the petitioner and respondent take the oath during a hearing regarding simple harassment (no kids, drugs, alcohol or violence involved -- just a one-sided breakup of a romance), assuming that the guy was lying through his teeth, are the parties still bound by the judge's decision to impose a one year no contact order in the state of Washington?
