Hello. My son was arrested 2 weeks ago, charged with armed robbery. The police said the crime was committed with a Glock 9mm. I own a Glock 9mm, but there's no way it could have been committed with my gun, because I was home at the time of the crime, and my glock was either on my hip of placed on the table in front of me. Plus, my son was spending the night with a friend. There's an additional lock on our door that I locked, and it can only be opened from the inside, so there's no way he could have gotten in to take my gun without me knowing. The cops still seized my weapon. To my understanding, there were no rounds fired, so how would the cops know the crime was commited with a glock 9mm? Also, the witness didn't show up at the preliminary hearing. My son has maintained his innocence to this day, and believes someone has fabricated this entire story. To this date, I have not been shown or told of the evidence against him besides one witness identifying him. Is there other evidence that should support justification for probable cause or was it solely based on a single witness's testimony?
